About the Michigan Wine Collaborative
The Michigan Wine Collaborative (MWC) is non-profit organization with the following mission…
To enhance the sustainability and profitability of the Michigan wine industry by supporting wineries, growers and other businesses and individuals connected to the industry – today and for future generations.
The Michigan Wine Collaborative
specializes in promoting, marketing, and
supporting the Michigan wine industry.
We do this through cultivating and
maintaining relationships with media
organizations, event production
companies, freelance writers, and social
media engagement. We also
strategically choose event opportunities
to expand the reach of our winery and
vineyard members and to grow the
brand of Michigan wine as a whole.
About Canfield Consortium
Canfield Consortium is a Detroit-based nonprofit organization committed to community-driven revitalization in East Canfield Village. Through creative placemaking, land stewardship, and inclusive development, the Consortium transforms vacant lots
into vibrant public assets that reflect the neighborhood’s cultural legacy.
Founded in 2015 by sisters, Rhonda and Kim Theus, Canfield Consortium has made a significant impact through signature projects including the East Canfield Art Park, a community space that blends environmental sustainability with public art;
the Remediation Forest, which addresses air pollution through native planting and land healing strategies and solar powered air quality monitoring; the Bring Back Jack’s campaign to revive a beloved neighborhood storefront as a hub for opportunity; and The Canfield Connect, a greenway trail activating vacant land into walkable, art-filled nodes of recreation and wellness.
Cool Ass Detroit Stuff (CADS) specializes in printed merchandise and promoting the culture of the city of Detroit. Catch them every Saturday at Shed 5 in the Eastern Market!
OFFICIAL EVENT SPONSORS
We appreciate the support and enthusiasm from committed sponsors so we can produce events such as Taste Michigan Invades the Eastern Market. Cheers!

Michigan Crafted (Michigan Craft Beverage Council)- 2026 SWAG BAG Sponsor
As the second most agriculturally diverse state in the nation, Michigan has a bit of a history when it comes to producing craft beverages. Being surrounded by 20% of the planet’s fresh water and resting along the 45th parallel makes Michigan the perfect place for growing. Just ask the 775 family-owned farms, the 3,375 acres of vineyards, hundreds of acres of hops, and 38,000 acres of apple trees.
All of these factors come together to create an unparalleled Michigan product, which can be found in almost every town and city throughout the state. Which raises the question…Where will you start tasting?

Eagle Eye Brands- 2026 Tasting Glass Sponsor
In 2004, Eagle Eye Brands was established in Michigan with the mission of representing great French wines at the best possible prices. Today, that mission has grown to include wines from all regions of the world. We choose wines that adhere to three principles – authenticity, approachability, and accessibility. Our success in Michigan has allowed us to expand our operation to include a distribution wing in Illinois as well as a National Import Division that partners with distributors across the US and internationally.
We are flexible, agile, and understand that our customers need end consumers. To that end, we aim to work as partners with our customers and vintners to help attract and maintain a customer base and work in ways that are mutually beneficial for shared success.
